Saturdays in December:

2nd with Karaoke

9th with Live Music

16th with Karaoke

24th with Open Mic/Karaoke

7.30pm for a glass of bubbly and the buffet opens at 8pm. Entrance is FREE but there will be a charge of £10 per head for the buffet. You must pre-book and pre-pay no later than 72hrs before each event.

Christmas Day... Bars open from 11pm till 3pm. No Food Service.

Boxing Day...... Bars open from 11pm till 1am with a FREE buffet from 8pm. No Food Service.

Home Made Spicy Carrot and Coriander Soup

Served with a bread roll.


Prawn Cocktail

Succulent prawns on a bed of mixed leaves topped with our own Marie Rose Sauce and served with brown bread and butter.


Deep Fried Goats Cheese

Served on a bed of mixed leaves and topped with walnuts and sweet chilli sauce.


Smoked Mackerel

A cheese Crustini, topped with a pouched egg and topped with Smoked Mackerel.


Mains


Traditional Christmas Turkey Dinner

Served with creamed potatoes, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, brussel sprouts, carrots, cauliflower and peas, pigs in blankets, home-made Chestnut stuffing and Yorkshire puddings. Finished off with a rich gravy and home-made cranberry sauce.


Roast Beef with Shallot, Mushroom

and Red Wine Sauce

Served with creamed potatoes, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, brussel sprouts, carrots, cauliflower, peas and Yorkshire puddings.

Roast Pork with Apple, Cranberry and Port Sauce

Served with creamed potatoes, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, brussel sprouts, carrots, cauliflower, peas and Yorkshire puddings. Finished off with a rich gravy and home-made Apple cranberry and Port Sauce.


Baked Salmon

Salmon fillet topped with pesto and lemon and baked in the oven. Served with creamy mash potato, grilled tomatoes, courgette, button mushrooms and asparagus spears. Finished off with a creamy pesto or hollandaise sauce.


Nut Roast. ( Vegan available )

Served with creamed potatoes, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, brussel sprouts, carrots, cauliflower, peas and Yorkshire puddings. Finished off with one of the following.....

Home Made Traditional Christmas Pudding

Served with custard, ice cream or clotted cream.


Traditional Sherry Trifle

An individual trifle with all the traditional ingredients, topped with clotted cream and sprinkles with not so traditional fizz.


Black Forest Trifle

Not so traditional but delicious! Made with Kirsch, black cherries, chocolate cake and chocolate mousse and topped with clotted cream and chocolate flake.


Mixed Fruit Crumble

Bramley apples and a summer fruit mix topped with crumble made with ground almonds and rice flour. Served with custard, ice cream or clotted cream.


Mini Ploughman’s Cheese Board

Cheddar, Red Leicester and stilton served with Branston pickle, a pickled onion and crackers.
